Results of quantitative assessment of seaward migrating pink salmon fry in the Malaya Khusi river (north-east of Sakhalin) in 2021

چکیده
Following the results of quantitative assessment in Malaya Khusi river, total number seaward migrating pink salmon fry was 0,22 mln. Extremely low is due to unfavorable environmental conditions during embryonic and larval development. Seaward migration started 10 days later relative long-term average. Previously, alevins, physiologically unprepared for sea, were washed out from ground affected by massive flood. The maximum intensity occurred on June 20–21. Variation under stable hydrological determined fluctuations water temperature. Migration took place at dark time day. Average body length weight increased slightly migration. proportion fish with a residual yolk sac varied significantly. By end period, individuals which began feed fresh found among fry.
